Imports:
Cronometer imports the following items from Whoop:
- Sleep duration (with sleep stages)
- Exercise
- Recovery Score
- Resting Heart Rate
- Heart Rate Variability
- Oxygen saturation (SpO2)
- Skin temperature (°C)
Note: Unfortunately, we are not able to pull general activity data from WHOOP since their API for this data is not available at this time.
Since your activity level is not being imported from your device, we would recommend setting a Baseline Activity Level that best represents your day-to-day movement when not exercising.
Update your Baseline Activity Level in More > Targets > Energy Expenditure.
Backfill/ Force Sync
You can backfill data from WHOOP to Cronometer using the Force sync option in More > Devices > WHOOP after you have connected WHOOP to your account.
Troubleshooting
Connection issues
If you are experiencing issues importing data from WHOOP into your Cronometer account, please first ensure your device is importing data to your WHOOP app. Then refresh your Cronometer diary (pull down to refresh if you are using the mobile app).
If you are still having trouble importing data, please try reconnecting your WHOOP account to Cronometer via the webpage.
- Login to your account here https://cronometer.com/login/
- Go to the More tab > Devices
- Click on Disconnect next to WHOOP > then click on Connect again
- Follow the steps to connect your accounts, ensuring you turn on the correct permissions.
Exercise:
You may now notice a small difference between the exercise calories shown in WHOOP and Cronometer. This is because WHOOP includes your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) calories within each exercise entry.
To improve accuracy, we calculate your BMR for the duration of your exercise and subtract that value from WHOOP's total exercise calories. Since Cronometer already tracks your BMR separately, this prevents double-counting those calories.
Double counting/ incorrect data
Cronometer integrates with:
- Garmin
- Oura
- Fitbit
- Withings
- Whoop
- Polar
- Dexcom
- Ketomojo
- Suunto
- Apple Health
- Samsung Health.
- Health Connect
Please ensure you are only importing data from one device integration. If you have more than one of these integrations connected you may see incorrect values imported into your diary.
Please also note, if you are importing data from an unsupported integration into one of our supported integrations, we cannot guarantee that the data will be imported without error.
