Gold users can take advantage of our AI Photo-Logging feature. This feature allows you to take a picture of your food, and Cronometer will detect the foods so you can easily log them in your diary or create recipes/meals.

How to use Photo-Logging?
You can access Photo-Logging via the orange + menu.
Then, simply:
- Take a picture of your food or;
- Upload a picture from your photo library on your device
Cronometer will then return a list of matched foods for you to review.
You can also scroll down to see the Energy Summary for these matched foods before adding them to your diary.
Note: Always check if your foods have been matched correctly before adding to your diary for the most accurate logging.
If you are happy with the foods, tap Add To Diary.
Ingredient Suggestions:
A list of "Do you also have...?" foods will also be returned. These are foods that are commonly included in the food logged but are not necessarily visible in the photo.
You can add these to the list that will be added to your diary by tapping the + on the left-hand side of the suggestions.
Taking a new photo:
To take or upload a new photo, tap on the plus sign next to My Photo at the top of the results page.
Note: Adding a new photo will override your current photo and matched foods.
Changing the Amount and Serving Size of the results:
Tap on the green underlined amount and serving size listed for a matched food to bring up the option to change these.
Tap Save, to save your changes.
Swapping, adding, and deleting matched foods:

Swapping Items: Tap on the swap symbol
, to see other possible matches, or tap Search For More to use the Food Search to find an alternative item.

Adding Foods: Tap on Search For More at the bottom of the list to search for and add any foods that may have been missed by photo-logging.

Deleting Foods: Swipe left on a matched food and tap on the trash can to delete it from the list.
Creating a Custom Recipe/Meal from matched foods
If you frequently eat these matched foods together, or they make up a recipe you cook regularly. You can make a Custom Meal or Recipe from these foods in a few taps!
To create a Custom Meal or Recipe, scroll to the bottom and tap Create ... , you will then be able to select:
- Create Meal or;
- Create Recipe
This will take you to the Custom Meal/Recipe page, where you can create a Custom Meal or Recipe.
