The nutrient oracle can help you explore the food database to find good sources for particular nutrients. This is a Gold feature; if you are not a Gold user and would like to learn more about subscribing to Gold to access this feature, you can learn more here.
The Nutrient Oracle is similar to the Suggest Foods feature on the Diary page.
The Oracle ranks the search results based on nutrient density and food popularity, actively learning based on user preferences. The Oracle ranking is the most user friendly and practical option. You can also rank your nutrient search by the highest amount of the nutrient per Calorie or highest amount per gram.
You can also filter by food category. For example, this can be especially useful for people adhering to a plant-based diet by choosing to exclude categories containing animal products, such as ‘Beef Products’ and ‘Sausages and lunch meats’. Etc. It can also be useful to narrow your search, for example, to find the seafood with the most selenium by only choosing only one category, ‘Finfish & Shellfish’.
