Each nutrient in a Nutrition Score is given even weight toward calculating your total score. For example, if there are 10 nutrients in a score, they will each contribute 10% towards your score. Achieving the minimum target without going over the maximum will get you the full 10% for each one.
Not meeting the minimum target or going over the maximum target will subtract some from your score.
Some scores also take into account Nutrient Balances as well.
Click on a Nutrition Score to check out how much of each nutrient you have eaten.
Point your mouse at each target to see your top 10 sources for each nutrient.
Also, take note of the Data Quality score shown at the bottom. This will give you an idea of how many foods have data available for these nutrients.
